More about The Crossings at Carlsbad
One of the newest golf courses in San Diego County, The Crossings at Carlsbad is a true pleasure to play. When arriving at the course you'll notice the beautiful clubhouse, pro shop and restaurant that let you know you are playing a first class course. The driving range has real grass, and even when it is under repair, the artificial turf mats are great to hit off. With ocean views and breezes from many of the holes, The Crossings at Carlsbad enjoys a magnificient setting for a round of golf.
Named for the five bridges, or crossings, designed into the course, Carlsbad's newest 18 hole golf course offers ocean breazes and stunning views. This 18-hole championship golf course was designed by Greg Nash and is Carlsbad's municipal golf course.
The Crossings measures 6,835 yards, with five seperate teeing areas at each hole, allowing golfers to chose the hole length and how they play it. The Crossings also features generous fairways, large greens & in cart GPS navigation.
The Crossings is a challenging and fun experience. Designed to preserve natural habitats and the City Trail System, the course offers magnificient views within a relaxing natural environment.

Tips for The Crossings
The Crossings at Carlsbad is a fun, challenging golf course to play. No walking is allowed at The Crossings, primarily due to the design of the course. Built on natural habitats, much of it protected and environmentally sensitive, the holes weave around almost 1,000 acres. Some of the holes had to be layed out so as to protect endangered species. As a result, you will notice a particularly long drive from the 11th green to the 12th tee, and then again from the 12th green to the 13th tee, both across one of the five 'crossings' on the course.
Due to its layout, the golf course has many areas that are out of bounds where you are unable to retrieve wayward golf balls on many. One can lose a lot of balls on this course, so be prepared. It has been said that a 20 handicap will require a dozen balls on this course. The Crossings at Carlsbad - a challenging, beautiful and fun course to play.
